Senior Account Executive

The DeBerry Group is looking for a Senior Account Executive who thrives in a fast-paced work environment. The candidate should have four to five years’ communications experience with emphases in media relations, public affairs, social media and content marketing.   • Develop, manage and execute communications strategy on behalf of DeBerry Group clients
  • Consult with clients regarding communications and marketing needs
  • Effectively manage client budgets
  • Write and edit media and online materials including messaging documents, press releases, media advisories, social media posts, blogs, byline articles and website copy
  • Local, regional, and national media pitching
  • Design and execute engaging and effective social media strategy
  • Social media community management to include monitoring and reporting of performance metrics
  • Monitor social media trends and best practices and effectively implement into client strategy
  • Oversee the creations and production of creative materials across a variety of media including print, digital and video
  • Collaborate with clients and coworkers to generate original and impactful ideas
  • Organize and execute client events including press conferences, media tours, and blogger activations
  • Assist with new business development and presentations

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field preferred
  • Four to five years’ experience in a communications or public relations industry
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
  • Agency or corporate communications experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and maintain excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility in job responsibilities
  • Some travel may be required
